Living on First avenue 1974 , I was doing piecework for Dolph Hargis Alert Alarm.
Cindy lived in the apartment behind mine on the same floor. my back window and workroom was right next to her back steps. so that we could see each other .
Cynthia approached me and we wound up developing a friendship. She was always very well dressed. She and I would often go to very nice places for dinners.
I was struggling financially since I was still recovering from my Motorcycle accident. and could not do a steady job. Cynthia surprised me and would not let me pay for dates or diners. She had "Credit cards" which was something I simply was in no position to have.
several months later she told me she was moving to a new apartment and that she had some things I could have since she was not taking them to her new apartment.
I had never actually been in her apartment we spent most of our time together in my place.

When I entered her apartment I was shocked, the place was a mess. full of clothes and personal effects, all of them basically new or slightly used. Very high quality and very expensive.
I asked about it and she explained that basically she only wanted to wear new clothing, and when she wore something she basically bought new instead of having it laundered. Cynthia was a very wealthy girl, Her father / family owned a finance company and she only used the credit cards and never saw the bill. Her life on her own in the apartment was fully funded by her family . I felt a little sorry for her another poor little rich girl. (like Marion Hunt)
I Saw her less often but visited her new apartment which was on the other side of Lake Merit and actually a much more expensive place. I had some pride/ resentment towards the rich girls since Piedmont.
I always wondered what happened to Cynthia. I don't remember her last name so locating her would be tough.
